Fernando Mendoza – Quarterback (-450<\/a>)<\/h3>

The Las Vegas Raiders finished the season 3-14 with the joint-worst record with the Jets, Titans, and the Cardinals. However, due to the tiebreaker system, the Raiders now hold the number one overall draft pick for the upcoming 2026 NFL draft. <\/p>

One of their biggest needs is at the quarterback position, which was a position of need even for the 2025 season. Vegas passed up on the opportunity to sign a signal-caller early in the draft and decided to go with veteran quarterback Geno Smith, but that experiment didn’t go down so well. <\/p>

With the number one overall pick, this could be the perfect time for the Raiders to bag this year’s Heisman winner and the Indiana Hoosiers’ talented quarterback, Fernando Mendoza. The 22-year-old has had an incredible season helping his team to a perfect 14-0 record so far this season. <\/p>

Mendoza has currently thrown for 3,172 yards, 36 touchdowns, and just 6 interceptions, boasting a completion percentage of 72.3% in his junior year. Dante Moore – Quarterback (+430<\/a>)<\/h3>

Quarterback Dante Moore transferred to Oregon in 2024, where he was behind Dillon Gabriel in the pecking order. Moore featured in just 3 games with no starts last year, but with Gabriel having left for the NFL, Moore took over the Ducks’ offense. <\/p>

The sophomore has led the Ducks to an impressive 12-1 record so far this season and will once again lead the team in the upcoming Peach Bowl matchup against the Hoosiers on Friday. Rueben Bain Jr. – Defensive End (+1700<\/a>)<\/h3>

Defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. is currently a junior with the Miami Hurricanes. The defender has had a massive impact on the Hurricanes’ roster and is one of the key reasons for the team’s 12-2 record, with the Fiesta Bowl coming up on Thursday against Ole Miss. <\/p>
