The New York Giants<\/a> fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday after the team blew a double-digit lead in 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears. This was the second time this season the Giants lost after leading by 10+points with under four minutes left. Only the 2004 Seattle Seahawks had done that before. <\/p>

Daboll started strong in 2022, leading the Giants to a 9-7-1 record and a playoff win. He even won Coach of the Year. But since then, the team has gone 11-33, one of the worst records in the NFL<\/a>. The Giants are now 2-8 this season, with blown leads in four road games. Daboll finished with a 20-40-1 record. His time was marked by tension, staff changes, and poor results despite drafting rookie QB Jaxson Dart. <\/p>
