The defense held a battered Commanders’ offense to 22 points, while the offense dropped a massive 44 points, and at the heart of that performance was the Lions’ head coach, Dan Campbell. <\/p>
Making a surprise change to their current system, head coach Dan Campbell was seen with the playsheet in his hands on the sidelines of the Lions<\/a> vs Commanders<\/a> game on Sunday. When asked about it afterwards, Campbell confirmed that he called the plays on offense in the game. <\/p> This was the first time Campbell took on the playcalling duties since his first year in the Motor City, back in 2021. In the seasons past, offensive playcalling duties lay with the team’s former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, but he left for the Chicago Bears’ head coaching role. <\/p>
