However, that was not the Commanders’ only loss on the night as franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a horrific elbow injury, resulting in him leaving the field early. <\/p>
With around seven and a half minutes left in the game, with the Commanders down 38-7 and facing second and goal, second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels escaped the pocket looking to run it to the endzone. Daniels was tackled well short by Seahawks’ linebacker Drake Thomas and landed awkwardly as his elbow bent under his body, resulting in his injury. <\/p>
Daniels suffered an injury to his left arm, which is his non-throwing arm. In any case, the elbow was bent at a weird angle, and Daniels lay on the ground as the training staff attended to him. He was later seen leaving the field, back to the locker room, with his entire arm in a cast. <\/p>
