According to him, a player who compels fans to take out time from busy lives to watch him, is truly a superstar. <\/p>

Defining a superstar, the five-time NBA Champion said, “A person who can go on the road and sell the building. Simple. I’m going to see that person… You gotta be box office. A superstar gotta say, man, or you’re running home from the office and saying, oh, I gotta see him on TV.”<\/em> He talked about legends like Larry Bird, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan and said that these players would drive fans crazy and they wouldn’t want to miss out on any chance to see them play. <\/p>

Johnson said, “Larry Bird, people running home, Shaq, people running home, Kobe, people running home.
