He has been one of the Lions&rsquo; most go-to scorers and they rely on him to make plays. Except for his first game, Gibbs has had at least 10 attempts in the last four games, and looking at the Chiefs&rsquo; rushing defense, ranking 21st, we expect the Lions to go with a run-heavy approach using Gibbs.<\/p><p>Similar to Gibbs, David Montgomery is a threat to score at any point in time because of his dominance on the field and the Lions&rsquo; tendency to use a run-heavy approach against weaker defenses. Montgomery has already scored 4 TDs this season on 310 rushing yards, and he&rsquo;s also had at least 10 rushing attempts in every game expect one. Looking at his performance against the Ravens in Week 3 where he rushed for 151 yards and 2 TDs, he could do similar kind of damage to the Chiefs&rsquo; 21st ranked rush defense. <\/p><p> It is likely that Isiah Pacheco stays under 7.5 rushing attempts simply because of the Lions&rsquo; stout rushing defense, ranking 7th in the league. Detroit has only allowed 4 rushing TDs through five weeks this season, on an average of 92.2 rushing yard allowed average so far. Pacheco&rsquo;s had back-to-back games with only 7 rushing attempts and we believe the Lions&rsquo; defense is simply too good for Andy Reid to rely on his running back.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chiefs vs Lions Prediction<\/h2><p>We believe the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/nfl\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Detroit Lions<\/a> will take home the victory, despite going against the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/nfl\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Chiefs <\/a>at their home field.
