The saga of Conor McGregor’s long-awaited return to the UFC <\/a>Octagon has been a masterclass in terms of sheer anticipation and frustration, particularly when it comes to his much-hyped fight with Michael Chandler. In a recent interview, the 37-year old declared his participation a foregone conclusion already. “It’s a done deal, signed, delivered.”<\/em><\/strong> McGregor claimed, emphasizing that the negotiations weren’t with the UFC but directly the U.S. government.<\/p>
