Analysis and Rationale <\/h2>

Alvin Kamara is a strong bet to score an anytime TD against the 49ers because he rushed for a TD in Week 1, reinforcing his role as the Saints’ red-zone workhorse. The 49ers are struggling with a lot of injuries and uncertainties, due to which we expect Kamara to go off in this Week 2 action.<\/p>

As a pocket passer in New Orleans’ scheme, Rattler is considered a dual-threat quarterback and in Week 1 he had 29 rushing yards on four carries. However, the 49ers’ run defense could limit his mobility. With a pass-heavy focus of the Saints, we do not expect Rattler to go above 16.5 yards this time around.<\/p>

The Saints vs 49ers game is likely to stay under 4.5 total touchdowns due to the 49ers’ injury-riddled roster, which may hamper their offensive firepower. With Brock Purdy out for the game, while TE George Kittle and OT Trent Williams listed as questionable, the 49ers’ red-zone efficiency may not be as effective. The Saints in Week 1 played well, but their lack of offensive firepower which kept them at 13 points, makes us believe that this will be a low scoring game.<\/p>

The San Francisco 49ers (1-0) travel to face the New Orleans Saints<\/a> (0-1) in Week 2, at Caesars Superdome. After a gritty 17-13 road win over the Seahawks, the 49ers battle injuries, with QB Brock Purdy and TE George Kittling out for the game, forcing Mac Jones to start. <\/p>

Meanwhile, the Saints, stung by a 20-13 home loss to the Cardinals, rely on NFL sophomore QB Spencer Rattle. The Saints are still trying to recover from the loss of veteran QB Derek Carr, who decided to retire from the NFL earlier in 2025. <\/p>
