Indiana finished the three game road trip 1-2, defeating the Los Angeles Sparks but falling to do the same against the Golden State Valkyries and Phoenix Mercury.<\/p><p>With just three games left for the regular season, the Indiana Fever sits at 21-20, holding the No. 8 seed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/wnba\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>WNBA <\/a>standings. If the postseason began today, Indiana would face the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx. But the latest defeat left the Fever in a poor position, as multiple qualification scenarios remain unsettled.<\/p><p>Even a perfect finish may not guarantee a playoff berth. Should the Indiana Fever close at 24-20, the LA Sparks could still knock them out by sweeping their final five games.
