The Golden State Valkyries (19-18) have surprised WNBA fans with their will to win in their debut season. The team is well-positioned to secure a playoff spot, having been expected to finish outside the top ten. <\/p>

However, they will need one final big push to secure a postseaosn spot. <\/p>

On the other hand, the Washington Mystics (16-23) are flailing after a boisterous campaign. The rookie duo of Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen made the team overachieve, but they are pretty much out of the playoff race. <\/p>

Can Golden State win this crucial game against a vulnerable opponent? Here is my favorite Same Game Parlay and prediction for the match-up.<\/p>

WNBA Best Bets: Valkyries vs Mystics Same Game Parlay<\/h2>

Sonia Citron: Points and 3-Pointers<\/h4>

The Mystics’ rookie is averaging 15.3 PPG. She has elevated her game since the departure of their prime option, Brittney Sykes. Citron has scored 12+ in fifteen straight games. <\/p>

She has put up 15.8 PPG in the last five games.<\/p>

On the other hand, Citron has been a laser long-range shooter. She has knocked down 1.8 3-pointers per game. She has converted 3 or more in five of the last seven games. <\/p>

I see her knocking down at least 2 here.<\/p>

Kiki Iriafen: Points and Rebounds<\/h3>

Iriafen has already become one of the best rebounders in her rookie year. She has also provided some consistent scoring. The forward has tallied 13 PPG and 8.6 RPG.<\/p>

Recently, she went through a stream of double-doubles (6 out of 7 games). She has grabbed fewer than 7 rebounds in two straight games, but I see that changing here. <\/p>

I believe the stellar forward will come up with yet another double-double here.<\/p>

Iriafen O 10.5 Points and O 8.5 Rebounds<\/strong><\/p>

Veronica Burton: Points and Assists<\/h4>

Valkyries’ guard Burton has been playing her best ball lately. The guard has averaged 12 PPG and 5.6 APG. Her PPG has increased from 10ish last month to 12 now. <\/p>

In fact, Burton has put up 19.5 PPG and 8.2 APG in the last six games, screaming All-Star numbers. Thus, it wouldn’t be a stretch to pick Burton to score in double-digits while delivering more than 5 assists.<\/p>

This is a loaded 6-leg SGP. I usually prefer 3-leg SGP, but couldn’t resist mixing things up here. <\/p>

There are no risky picks here, but one big concern is that the Valkyries’ defense and inconsistent offense can limit points production. But overall, I am confident that all of these will click.<\/p>

WNBA Best Bets: Valkyries vs Mystics Prediction<\/h2>

The Mystics are tottering right now, having lost five in a row. Two of these losses were against one of the bottom three teams in the Connecticut Sun. <\/p>

The other three were against strong playoff teams. As for Valkyries, they did win against the Wings in their last game but but had lost three in a row before that to the top-four teams. <\/p>

During the last battle between the two, Golden State prevailed 88-83. The bookmakers have predicted a similar spread to this. I believe the Valkyries will cover it again, as they have most of the season.<\/p>
