The world no. 1 would look to defend the title in American swing and he crossed the first hurdle in style. Sinner opened up on his approach towards the game and the 2025 Wimbledon champion believes training is more important than tournaments. <\/p><p><em>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m one kind of person who takes the confidence out of the practice sessions,&rdquo;<\/em> Jannik Sinner said.<em> &ldquo;And, when I feel ready physically. The Italian ace went on a break and worked on physical and mental strength.<em> <\/em>He said: <em>&ldquo;I feel confident, you know, and that&rsquo;s exactly what we did also after London, I took my time off. But, then when I came back, I was working very, very hard.&rdquo; <\/em><\/p><p>Sinner used the previous two-week break for physical training. He worked on his shots and did practice at the tennis club. <em>&ldquo;We had very long days, at the tennis club with the physical training, tennis and physio and everything. There was so long days, you wake up early and you go to sleep actually quite late. And then I take my confidence from there.
