She is now the first player in the history of the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/wnba\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>WNBA<\/a> to create the record. Thomas achieved the feat during the Mercury&rsquo;s clash against the Indiana Fever, where the former recorded a 95-60 win. Thomas dropped 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists for the winners. DeWanna Bonner led the team with 23 points, seven rebounds, and one assist.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The Fever, who were without Caitlin Clark for the ninth straight game, were led by Sophie Cunningham. Cunningham dropped 18 points, two rebounds, and two assists for the Fever, while Kelsey Mitchell came up with 12 points, one rebound, and four assists. This was the first time Cunningham visited Phoenix following her offseason trade to the Fever. Satou Sabally dropped eight points and two rebounds for the Mercury in the first quarter, and made all three of her shot attempts from the field. Sabally went 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. On the other hand, Kelsey Mitchell had eight points, one rebound, and one steal for the Fever.
