Hosted by Scott Hansen, the channel&rsquo;s main aim is to bring the best moments from live football games across the country.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Since the NFL has most of its games being played simultaneously on Sundays all over the country, RedZone offers viewers all the best action from these games. Whenever a team enters the &lsquo;Red Zone&rsquo; in football, which is from the 20-yard line to the end zone, the live feed switches to that particular game so viewers can see what happens next.&nbsp;<\/p><p>At times, the simulcast also has the ability to split screens and is not just limited to two windows. Red Zone coverage can have as many as 2,3,4 windows all the way up to 10 windows at any given time.&nbsp;<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Scott Hanson announced today that he is returning  for his 17th season as host of NFL RedZone. &ldquo;100 days from now = NFL RedZone &amp; for those wondering:  Yes, I will be there,&rdquo; Hanson posted on social media. &ldquo;We have A LOT of TDs to watch together!&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kfE1DjX3ZR\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>pic.twitter.com\/kfE1DjX3ZR<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/1928564884452642931?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>May 30, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roger Goodell&rsquo;s RedZone comments on SportsCenter<\/h2><p>Commissioner Goodell joined ESPN&rsquo;s SportsCenter following the news of the purchase, and when asked about what the NFL&rsquo;s RedZone will look like now, Goodell maintained that the viewers would not see much of a difference content-wise, but as ESPN now has control over it, the model can be extended to other sports as well.&nbsp;<\/p><p>&ldquo;It will be the NFL RedZone. I don&rsquo;t think fans will see any difference to that. Obviously, in the context of that, though, ESPN purchased the RedZone name, and they will be able to utilize that for other sports, college football, and other things. And I think that could be an exciting thing for our fans also to see a RedZone, maybe in college football or other sports.
