Daly is the former coach of ATP star Denis Shapovalov.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Did Coco Gauff Split With Her Former Coach?<\/h2><p>Legendary American coach Brad Gilbert is the former coach of Coco Gauff. They had a partnership between 2023 and 2024, which ended after the US Open.<\/p><p>According to Gauff, she wanted to try something new by adding something refreshing to her game ahead of the 2025 season. She failed to defend her title at Flushing Meadows, losing in the Round of 16 to countrywoman Emma Navarro, which confirmed the end of their alliance.<\/p><p>Gilbert previously coached the likes of Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Andy Murray and Kei Nishikori.
