That&rsquo;s the definition of a frontrunner<\/em>.&rdquo;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internal struggles and lack of chemistry<\/h2><p>Edwards didn&rsquo;t just point to on-court failures; he also took aim at the Wolves&rsquo; locker room culture. He described a team that struggles to communicate and seems fractured. <em>&ldquo;Not to the other team, but like internally we soft, like we can&rsquo;t talk to each other. Just a bunch of little kids,&rdquo;<\/em> Edwards said.<\/p><p>He added that the lack of unity is obvious to everyone, stating, <em>&ldquo;All 15 of us go into our own shell, and we&rsquo;re just growing away from each other. Towns often served as a unifying presence in the locker room, offering leadership and motivation. Without him, the team seems adrift, both offensively and defensively.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Defensive woes persist<\/h2><p>The Wolves, once known for their elite defense, have lost their identity on that end of the floor. Players like Donte DiVincenzo, expected to stretch the floor, have struggled, and the absence of Towns&rsquo; offensive prowess is glaring.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A bleak outlook for Minnesota<\/h2><p>At 8-10, the Timberwolves are dangerously close to slipping into irrelevance in the hyper-competitive Western Conference.
