The defending champions, Liberty, have resumed from where they left off their season. Their latest triumph, 100-52 against the Connecticut Sun, sums up their dominance. New York has won six of their seven games by 12 points or more. Four of these wins have been by at least 18 points.<\/p>

On the other hand, the Mystics have lost five of their last six games. Only one loss has been 20+ points, while the rest have been in single digits. <\/p>

The Liberty is clearing the spread left and right. They are a much better offensive team, and they may cook another 15+ points win here. Thus, I expect them to cover the spread.<\/p>

Bet #2: Phoenix Mercury vs Golden State Valkyries: Total U 156.5 (-110 at BetMGM)<\/strong><\/h4>

The Mercury comes into this game after a 23-point loss (65-88) against the 2024 finalists Minnesota Lynx, who have won eight straight games. Losing to one of the top two teams without your team’s best two-way player, Alyssa Thomas, is understandable.<\/p>

The Mercury have lost 2 of their last 3 games, and have scored mostly in the 70s.  On the other hand, the Valkyries have been one of the least productive offensive teams. They have followed similar scoring trajectories as the Mercury, and now their defense has started to fall apart, too.<\/p>

At any rate, this game is a candidate for the total going “Under”.<\/p>

Bet #3: New York Liberty vs Washington Mystics: Total U 163.5 (-110 at BetMGM)<\/strong><\/p>

The Liberty has scored 90 or more points in five of the last seven games. Meanwhile, they have limited their opponents to 78 or fewer points in six of the seven games. On the other hand, the Mystics have suffered offensively.<\/p>

They have scored 80+ only in three of the eight games and have usually figured in the late 60s and early 70s. On the other hand, they have conceded 80+ regularly these days. Overall, the score seems to be trending in the “Under” category here.<\/p>
