First off, they fired their head coach, Mike Brown, who had helped the team win to a playoff appearance in 2021-22 season. Though the Kings were knocked off by the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs after Steph Curry&rsquo;s 50-point explosion, the Kings looked like a team that was finally ready to compete with De&rsquo;Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis leading the way. However, the team went from &ldquo;Light the Beam,&rdquo; to a team struggling to make the Play-In Tournament in a matter of just a couple of years. Now, they fired head coach Mike Brown, traded away Fox to the Spurs, and have a new personnel with DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine joining the group. <\/p><p>While rest of their pieces are well sorted out, their lack of point guard is still glaring and it is no easy task to fill out the hole that De&rsquo;Aaron Fox left in the city. So the Kings will be looking for a point guard this offseason, and there is a new guard that could be the perfect fit for the Kings in the 2025-26 season.
