And the wins didn&rsquo;t only add silverware to their illustrious cabinet, but also unlocked a major financial windfall.<\/p><p>This comes as a blessing to the club especially at a time with such financial issues. The Catalan giants clinched their 28th league title with a resounding win over local rivals Espanyol. They went seven points ahead of their arch-rivals Real Madrid in second place, mathematically winning the title with that win.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La Liga TV Revenues and Performance Bonuses<\/h2><p>While it is unfortunate that unlike many other top European leagues, La Liga does not offer a fixed cash prize to its champion, Barcelona are still poised to earn a good amount of money. This will instead come from revenue distribution by the league.
