Sean Brady has already warned the UFC Welterweight Division to not take Kamaru Usman lightly. “The Nigerian Nightmare” is inching towards his next bout against Joaquin Buckley<\/a> on June 14, 2025. <\/p>

Sean Brady<\/a> himself saw his last fight end in a victory against Leon Slater on March 22, 2025. Sean Brady and Kamaru Usman<\/a> are presently two of the top 5 in the Welterweight division in the company. So why is Sean Brady warning his division’s fighters not to count out Kamaru Usman?. Sean Brady Considers Kamaru Usman To Be a Fighter Of a Different Level<\/h2>

Sean Brady appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show to tak about different things. There, Ariel Helwani<\/a> asked him his opinions about Kamaru Usman, who is returning to the Octagon after more than a year. He responded with – <\/p>

“You’re crazy if you’re counting out Kamaru Usman. Yes, he’s a little bit older, but when he fights, he makes it happen. He fights at a different level”.<\/p>

Sean Brady went on to refer to Kamaru Usman’s fight against Khamzat Chimaev<\/a> on October 21, 2023. He fought that fight on ten-day’s notice. However, he was successful in delivering considerable damage to Chimaev. Sean Brady stated that if there were two more rounds to that fight, then the results would have looked a lot different. Sean Brady’s comments show his faith and trust in his fellow Welterweight division fighter. Verdict MMA App posted Sean Brady’s comments on their official Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>

How Has Sean Brady’s Own UFC Career Been So Far?<\/h2>

Sean Brady has presently developed himself to be the second best fighter in the UFC Welterweight division. He had been on a roll in the UFC since the time he debuted on October 18, 2019 to November 20, 2021 with an undefeated streak of five fights. However, it all came crashing down with his first loss against Belal Muhammad<\/a> on October 22, 2022. That being said, Sean Brady is not one to give up and has bounced back with an another undefeated streak of three fights so far.<\/p>

Kamaru Usman is comic back to the UFC and Sean Brady has fully backed the veteran MMA fighter. It will be interesting to see a potential future bout between Sean Brady and Kamaru Usman.<\/p>\n
