The Pacers jumped to a 38-23 lead in the first quarter to deflate the #1 seed in the East. They took it up a notch in the second quarter and were sitting at a mind-boggling 42-point lead a the end of the first half. <\/p><p>The game was already done there. But the basketball gods punished Cleveland for their poor performance further. Donovan Mitchell left the game at the end of the first half and didn&rsquo;t return. Now the seriousness of his left ankle injury will be decided based on an MRI. It wouldn&rsquo;t be surprising if he misses the next game.<\/p><p>Meanwhile, the Pacers proved that they aren&rsquo;t dependent upon a single superstar like the Cavs. Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam combined for 41 points while Obi Toppin had 20 off the bench. Complete frontline demolition achieved. In contrast, the PF-C duo of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley achieved just 12 points. The only good news(barely) was Darius Garland&rsquo;s 21-point production after he had shot 3\/11 in Game 3.<\/p><p>The Cavs committed 22 turnovers compared to just 10 by the Pacers. Indiana attempted 23 more shots, which offset the free throws disparity as the Cavs made 38 compared to 12 by Indiana. All the games have hit the 230s range. The total has gone &ldquo;over&rdquo; in all the cases as the Pacers have put in 120 or more in three of the four games. <\/p><p>The trend will probably hold in Game 4 even with Mitchell out. The bookmakers have stuck to their projections of the over\/under being around 230.5.
