Alex “Poatan” Pereira<\/a> had a heartbreaking moment in his last UFC outing at UFC 313. Poatan attempted to defend his Light Heavyweight title against Magomed Ankalaev as part of his fourth title defense. Unfortunately, he suffered a loss and had to hand over his UFC Light Heavyweight title to his opponent.<\/p>

Magomed Ankalaev<\/a> is presently the Light Heavyweight Champion in the UFC. He also posted that he has received a rematch offer against Alex Pereira in August and he accepted it. Jamahal Hill Believes That Alex Pereira Can Beat Magomed Ankalaev<\/h2>

Jamahal Hill<\/a> was questioned by The Schmo about his opinions regarding Alex Pereira’s rematch with Magomed Ankalaev. Hill responded (via The Schmo on Instagram<\/a>)- <\/p>

“He has the ability to beat Ankalaev, but it’s all about how he makes adjustments”. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Notably, Dana White, the CEO of UFC has also wanted to see a rematch between Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev. All this happened after Joe Rogan revealed in his podcast that Alex Pereira was suffering from a broken hand and Norovirus during his fight against Magaomed Ankalaev. Pereira had also acknowledged his injuries but did not go into details about it. <\/p>
