However, matches are not played on paper, and that means anything can happen.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Sakkari has already played two matches in <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/top-atp-player-assesses-jannik-sinners-return-hes-always-the-same-sinner\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Rome<\/a>, having come through the qualifiers against Chlo&eacute; Paquet and Maja Chwali&#324;ska. She came through both her matches in three tough sets after dropping the first set. She hasn&rsquo;t had much success past the round of 32 this year, but did make it to the round of 16 recently in Madrid after defeating the much higher-ranked Jasmine Paolini.&nbsp;<\/p><p>On the other side of the court will be the 28-year-old Bencic, who has had a decent season thus far.
