Pat McAfee and Gunther<\/a> finally came face to face against each other for the last-time on WWE<\/a> Monday Night Raw. These two have created a significant history since April 21, 2024 during Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 41. <\/p>

Gunther notably originally attacked Michael Cole after losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Jey Uso<\/a> at WrestleMania 41. Pat McAfee<\/a> tried to save his broadcast partner only to have Gunther choke him out and put him to sleep. The WWE suspended Gunther for his actions. Pat McAfee however, challenged him for a match at Backlash. So, what happened when The Ring General and Pat McAfee finally faced each other inside the ring on Monday Night Raw.  <\/p>

Gunther and Pat McAfee Trash Talk Each Other<\/h2>

Pat McAfee finally faced Gunther inside the ring on Monday Night Raw. This was their last meeting before Backlash. Raw GM Adam Pearce<\/a> advised both of them to keep their interactions professional. Pat McAfee said that Gunther is comfortable and will overlook his opponent. This will allow Pat McAfee to beat Gunther at Backlash. He will also prove that the comfortable version of Gunther is soft (via WWE on YouTube<\/a>).<\/p>
