The 2025 NFL<\/a> draft came to an end on April 26, following the standard three-day extravaganza. This year’s draft, which was held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, had a total of 257 picks from its customary 7 rounds. Former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward was the number one overall pick selected by the Tennessee Titans, while this year’s Mr. Irrelevant was defensive back Kobee Minor selected by the New England Patriots. <\/p>

5 teams, including the Ravens, Raiders, Patriots, 49ers, and the Seahawks, had the most selections with 11 each, while the Falcons, Vikings, and the Commanders each had the fewest picks with only three each. <\/p>

This year’s draft had a couple of surprises along the way, with the most notable ones coming from former Colorado Buffaloes stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. On the other hand, two-way player Travis Hunter went second overall, but was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, who traded up from the number five spot with the Cleveland Browns. Several experts believed that the Browns should have drafted Hunter themselves, as he is considered to be a special talent heading into the professional league. 2026 NFL Draft Location and Dates<\/h2>

The 2026 NFL draft is slated to be held in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The site for the event will be around Point State Park and Acrisure Stadium, which is the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh was chosen as the host city on May 22, 2024. <\/p>

The three-day event will be held from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25, with round 1 being held on the first day, followed by rounds 2 and 3 on day 2, and the remaining rounds on the third day, as is the customary schedule of the NFL. <\/p>
