She then played in back-to-back 3-set matches against Diana Shnaider and the 5th-ranked Madison Keys in the round of 16 and the quarterfinals respectively.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Gauff&rsquo;s path to the semifinal has been more straightforward, although that is not to say that it was a cake-walk, as she faced a stern test in the previous round against the seventh-seeded Mirra Andreeva.&nbsp;<\/p><p>After dropping the first set 0-6 in her round of 64 match against Dayana Yastremska, Gauff stormed back for the win in three sets and has since followed that up with straight-set victories against Ann Li, Belinda Bencic, and the aforementioned Andreeva.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iga Swiatek vs Coco Gauff Head-to-Head Record<\/h2><p>The Polish and the American have faced off against each other several times and today&rsquo;s meeting will be number 15 between the pair. The head-to-head is rather lopsided, however, with Swiatek leading by a huge margin of 11-3.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The pair played their first match against one another in the 2021 Rome semifinals, where Swiatek earned a straight-sets victory.
