The German center-back was dismissed late in extra time after he tried to throw an ice pack at referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea in a moment of fury.<\/p><p>The pre-match events and the match itself was dramatic enough. However, it didn&rsquo;t end there as tension boiled over after Barcelona&rsquo;s Jules Kounde scored the decisive goal in the 116th minute. This decision sparked chaos on the Madrid bench. Rudiger, who had been substituted earlier due to an injury, reacted very angrily. He hurled water bottles and tried to throw an ice pack from the technical area. He had to be restrained by teammates.<\/p><p>Even the coaching staff had to intervene to prevent further escalation.
