The top seed has played only one match en route to the final four. The Belarusian received a bye in Round-1, before Anastasia Potapova withdrew before their Round of 16 clash. Making full use of her outstanding 14-3 record on clay over the past year, Sabalenka dominated Elise Mertens in the quarterfinals.
