The Thai-British driver was expelled from Red Bull, which many considered was the end of his career. However, Albon returned to F1 in 2022 with Williams Formula 1. Since then, Albon has been the lead driver for the Williams F1 team. Williams has suffered a fall from grace in their recent years in F1. The past three-four years have been particularly harsh for the once world champion team. He has delivered for Williams in clutch situations and whenever his team needed it. There&rsquo;s no doubt that Williams would be the worst team on the grid if not for Alex Albon&rsquo;s heroics in their sub-par car.<\/p><p>The 2025 season has been a lot better for both Williams and Alex Albon. <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/redemption-day-for-williams-f1-alex-albon-finishes-top-5-sainz-crashes-out-on-debut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Albon started his first race with a P5 finish<\/a> giving his team a jumpstart. He scored points consecutively in the first three races. It was only in Bahrain that Alex finally succumbed and could not win any points for his team.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alex Albon Finds the 2025 Season &ldquo;Most Enjoyable&rdquo; for Himself!<\/h2><p>There&rsquo;s no doubting the fact that Alex Albon has made sure Williams doesn&rsquo;t end up in shambles this season. Their newest recruit Carlos Sainz, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/latest\/article\/we-are-not-as-far-as-it-seems-sainz-reflects-on-process-of-adapting-to.3WSJhQ1cRaHz5v411ax6yg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>is still trying to adjust to the car<\/a>. In such a situation, Alex Albon is the only anchor that Williams can rely on. In not for FIA&rsquo;s mistake in Bahrain GP Qualifying, Albon might have secured yet other points finish for Williams.<\/p><p>Alex Albon was being interviewed ahead of the 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
