The Oklahoma City Thunder finished the 2024-25 season with the best record across both seasons in the NBA. They are one of, if not, the biggest threat to win it all this season, and can go toe-to-toe against any team in the NBA, including the defending NBA champions in Boston Celtics. One of the biggest reasons why the Thunder are in this position, is because of Shai Gilgeous Alexander’s unbelievable scoring and play-making ability, solidifying himself as one of the best players in the league.<\/p>

The Thunder finished the season with a 68-14 record, and finished as the number one seed in the West. They will take on the winner of the 8th seed for the first round of the playoffs, and this time this expectations has risen for them to the highest. Fans and analysts believe that OKC has what it takes to win it all, and while some question their playoff experience, others believe that the personnel that they have, is more than enough to win the Larry O’Brian Trophy this season. In fact, the Thunder have played so well this season that there is a serious debate going on about if the 2024-2025 Thunder squad could beat the James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Kevin Durant Thunder team.<\/p>

While we do not know the answer to that, what we do know is the fact that the Thunder have had three players with one or more scoring titles, in the past 16 years! Let’s find out more.<\/p>

The Thunder Have Most Scoring Leaders in the Past 16 Years<\/h2>

The Oklahoma City Thunder now have three players with who have won the scoring title 7 times in the last 16 years and this is who they are;<\/p>

Kevin Durant<\/h3>

Durant is one of the most elite scorers we have ever seen. When your team needs a bucket deep down the game or if they need a clutch shot maker, there is nobody better than Durant. KD has won 4 scoring titles in his NBA career in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014, and the 2013-14 season was one of the best MVP campaigns we have ever seen from an NBA player. Durant averaged a whopping 32.0 points per game that season, and there was nothing anybody could do to slow him down. Durant is nearly 7-feet tall, can handle the basketball, hit contested shots from anywhere from the floor, and driving inside the basket. Many analysts and fans even regard him as the best pure scorer that the game has ever seen.<\/p>
