At UFC 314’s Co-Main event, we saw Paddy Pimblett take on Michael Chandler, and that was a fight to behold. Pimblett has fought through all the odds so far and while many still think that he can never be a champion in the UFC, the way he is stacking up wins after wins, says otherwise. The Baddy knocked out Chandler in the third round of the fight. Pimblett was the favorite to win the fight, and the prediction remained true. <\/p>
In the first round of the fight, Chandler and Pimblett were gnawing at each other, and there wasn’t a clear cut winner for that round. In the second round, Pimblett picked up the pace and was winning standing exchanges delivering loads of volume. While Chandler tried to lock up Pimblett with an arm traingle, the attempt failed as he was on the wrong side of the body. By the end of the second round, Pimblett had taken the lead but the fight was still as close as it could get. In the third round, Pimblett had officially taken over as his ground and pound game at the very end, made the referee to stop the fight. Pimblett now has 7 straight wins inside the octagon and is 23-3-0 for his MMA career. His latest win against Chandler should now put him as the 7th best fighter in the lightweight division.<\/p>
