It was their third loss in four games, which has put a stain on a 4-1 period before that. However, overall, the Pistons have overachieved significantly. They were expected to do much worse, considering their roster profile.<\/p><p>But the mix of veterans such as Tobias Harris, Malik Beasley, and Tim Haradway Jr., alongside youngsters, Cunningham, Jalen Duren, and Ausar Thompson, has been a winning formula. As of now, the team will be over the moon upon entering the first round of the playoffs, and they can even surprise the likely third-seeders, the New York Knicks. Their isolation duo of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan has fired, but there have been some problematic spells, too. The biggest concern has been the form of Keegan Murray and Malik Monk.<\/p><p>Murray provides fantastic hustle and defense, but his offense is touch-and-go, especially from the long range(34.8% from deep).
