Japanese Grand Prix 2025 in F1 has been the staple race at the Suzuka International Racing Course. This circuit is 5.807 kms long and has a total of 18 turns. There is only one DRS zone at the circuit but the long straights make it incredibly fast. Suzuka is one of the fastest tracks of the Formula 1 calendar. The track is located in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, Japan and is owned by Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Suzuka was opened for racing in 1962 as a private test track for Honda. The track has been hosting F1 races since 1987.<\/p><p>Suzuka Circuit has scenic views and an overpass layout. Suzuka is the only circuit to receive a Grade 1 license from FIA that features a overpass. The Suzuka Circuit is the pride and joy of Japan&rsquo;s racing. Except Formula 1, FIM EWC, Intercontinental GT Challenge, Super GT and Super Formula race at the track. The track was also a part of the MotoGP calendar until 2003. If you are new Formula 1 fan, the terms &ldquo;130R&rdquo; and &ldquo;Degners&rdquo;, can confuse you over the weekend. Let&rsquo;s have a look at the meaning behind these words!<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the 130R Corner of the Suzuka Circuit?<\/h2><p>The Suzuka circuit is dangerously fast. However, the most defining corner of the circuit is Turn 15. This turn is the 130R corner of the Suzuka International Circuit. The 130R corner has extreme speeds. The drivers who have better machinery and superior skill take this turn flat out. The treacherously fast nature of the 130R has been the cause for many accidents in different racing categories. This corner is vital for overtakes and making move on your opponents. The 130R only rewards drivers who are brave enough to not lift the gas pedal as they squeeze out the best racing line through it. Turn 15, 130R, leads way to the Casio Triangle. This is another curve which demands a lot of commitment from the racing driver. Degners add to the challenge at the Suzuka Circuit making racing action more intense. The drivers pull out of Dunlop Curve speeding up to turn no.8. This turn can often causes skirmishes with the runoff if not taken carefully.
