Stefon Diggs was recently signed by the New England Patriots on a three-year $69 million deal which includes $26 million guaranteed, as per reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. That may be a lot of money to offer for somebody like Diggs, who is coming off of an ACL tear that he suffered in late October and kept him out for the rest of the 2024 season. The fact remains that the Patriots still have one of the largest cap spaces and they can simply just afford to sign players to those kind of deals, even if it may not prove to be fruitful. That’s a luxury not many teams can afford.<\/p>

Diggs had initially visited the Patriots last week and now he’s signed with the team. The 31 year old wideout, last season, played and started in 8 games for the Houston Texans and racked up 47 receptions and 496 receiving yards. Prior to the Texans, Diggs played for the Buffalo Bills but after he started showing signs of decline, they traded him after spending four seasons with the Bills. <\/p>
