The Washington Capitals have defeated the New York Rangers 5-3 at Capital One Arena Tuesday night. <\/p>

Extending their home winning streak to four, the Capitals demonstrated resilience and skill on both ends of the ice. The game was marked by a solid performance from Alex Ovechkin, who continues to close in on Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goals record<\/a>.<\/p>
