Last Sunday against the Patriots, Rodgers appeared slowed by these injuries.<\/p><p>However, he reports feeling better this week and hopes to get back to full speed:<\/p><p>&ldquo;I expect to be able to do a lot more this week,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/42080224\/jets-aaron-rodgers-says-cayenne-pepper-water-help-heal\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Rodgers said<\/a>. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll be under center and, hopefully, back to my faster-than-Godchaux speed.&rdquo;<\/p><p>So far this season, Aaron Rodgers hasn&rsquo;t performed as expected. The Jets are 2-6 and seem far from playoff contention at this point.<\/p><p>After eight games, Rodgers has recorded 12 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and a passer rating of 85.1, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RodgAa00.htm\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>ranking him 20th in the league<\/a>.<\/p><p>Despite the slow start, the Jets made a significant move <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/davante-adams-traded-jets\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>by acquiring Davante Adams<\/a> to add firepower to their offense. However, the offense has yet to reach its full potential.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jets&rsquo; Injury Report: Quinnen Williams (ankle) Returns<\/strong><\/h2><p>In other positive news for the Jets, Quinnen Williams (ankle) returned to practice yesterday.
