Dana White usually tends to give fans what they want to see, a fight between the best of the best. That is how the UFC <\/a>has become a global phenomena is the first place. White likes to build a lot of mystery and suspense before he reveals which fighters will fight in the upcoming months. He also announced that there is a bout that will happen sometime around fall, that nobody will see coming. So fans are left wondering who would that be.<\/p>

White never really gives out a clear cut answer, like the time when he was asked about if a rematch between Ankalaev and Pereira could happen in the near future, he said “Probably.” Or the time where he was asked about if Khamzat Chimaev is next for a title shot against Du Plessis and he said Chimaev is “in line.” You never truly know what uncle Dana means by his statements, but we can still keep our ears open for rumors and potential fights that could happen in the near future.<\/p>

We all know that Ilia Topuria has moved up to the lightweight division and is looking for a fight against the champ, Islam Makhachev. Problem is, Makhachev’s camp and manager wants Topuria to fight other contenders before he gets a shot at the title. Even though Topuria has clearly stated that he has no interest in fighting any of the other contenders and wants a title shot straight away, there are rumors suggesting that Ilia could take on Oliveira next. However, even Oliveira and his camp is not too keen on fighting someone who doesn’t have a belt currently. <\/p>
