The arrival of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid was always going to bring different dynamics to the club. With the star-studded lineups, clashes of ego and indifferences in wavelengths are usual sights. <\/p>

Looking at the previous few months and how Vinicius Jr. has got along with the Frenchman, pundit Medina claimed that the bonding we see on camera doesn’t exist. Speaking on Cadena SER, he insisted on the lack of synergy among them.<\/p>

“They want to sell us a brotherhood that doesn’t exist. From what I see that hurts Madrid’s game. The two do not look for each other and do not find each other.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

These claims suggest that the combination of Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. doesn’t work as the duo has combined for roughly five goals this season. However, their brilliance cannot be taken out as the duo has a combined G\/A of 36 in La Liga as of March. <\/p>

“Mbappe is Crushing Vinicius Jr<\/strong>.”, Claims Pundit<\/h2>

Vinicius Jr. came second in the 2024 Ballon d’Or<\/a> race, hasn’t lived up to the numbers this season. Some might suggest that this could be the natural order for making way for the French striker Mbappe. Moreover, Florentino Perez’s restless pursuit of Mbappe has also been said to cause some problems in the dugout. “Signing Mbappé was Florentino Pérez’s dream. He has followed his dream. Madrid’s sporting dream too, because Mbappé is a player that everyone wants to have in the squad. However, you are putting two roosters in the same henhouse. We suspected that the coexistence between Mbappé and Vinicius would be difficult. Florentino Perez told himself that Ancelotti would solve the problems in the dressing room.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

First, we asked ourselves if Mbappé would be able to adapt to this team that had won a lot. At the beginning of the season, we said to ourselves: ‘Oh, there is going to be a problem and he is the one who is going to pay for it’. But we forgot that Mbappé is a mental and sporting monster. With his performances and his attitude, he is starting to make Vinicius crack. Mbappé is crushing him,<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Although the number of Vinicius Jr. going down isn’t a coincidence, it is a little early to assume the arrival of Mbappe isn’t productive for Real Madrid. Performing in the big stages and having options to rely on has brought greater dynamics to what was already a mythic team. Should Ancelotti depart this season, it’ll be interesting to see how the new manager approaches these stars next season. <\/p>\n
