The Seattle Seahawks have traded their starting quarterback Geno Smith for a third round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders . This trade came as a shock to the entire football world and Smith will now be reunited with his former head coach, Pete Carroll. Nobody really expected Seattle to trade their QB1 as he had a great season last year. <\/p>

Smith threw for 4320 passing yards, had 21 touchdowns, and had a pass completion rate of 70.4 percent. The Seahawks reportedly wanted to give Smith a contract extension but the two parties could not come to a mutual agreement, thus leading the Seahawks to trade away their best quarterback.<\/p>
