Head coach Dorival Junior has expressed confidence in the Brazilian star&rsquo;s ability to make an impact.<\/p><p><em>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s no need to talk about what Neymar represents,&rdquo;<\/em> Dorival Junior said. <em>&ldquo;He is currently recovering his form, we understand and are aware of this. But we believe his abilities and qualities allow him to be in a condition to overcome any situation on the field.&rdquo;<\/em><\/p><p>Since returning to Santos, his boyhood club in January, Neymar has been determined to get back to form. He has scored three goals in their last four matches, including a free-kick in their 2-0 win over Bragantino.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The coach is expecting that his return to the national team will boost Brazil&rsquo;s chances. Additionally, his leadership skills might also be needed, as he is expected to reclaim the No.10 jersey and possibly the captain&rsquo;s armband.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notable Omissions: Antony and Endrick Left Out<\/h2><p>Neymar&rsquo;s return may have grabbed headlines as the Brazil squad was announced. However, the absence of some key names from the squad has also been significant. Antony left Manchester United as a loanee in January this year. He joined Real Betis for the remainder of the season and has been in good form.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Even so, he was left out of the final 23-man squad. The winger has contributed three goals and two assists in seven games for Betis. However, the coaching staff had to consider several players in strong form, like Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Raphinha, so Antony couldn&rsquo;t make the cut.<\/p><p>Antony&rsquo;s exclusion also follows a public dispute between his agent and <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/manchester-united-vs-arsenal-odds-predictions-03-09-2025\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Manchester United<\/a> over his playing time. His absence from the squad could also impact his market value, as United will look to secure a permanent transfer for the Brazilian in the summer.<\/p><p>Meanwhile, teen sensation Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid later this year, was also omitted.
