But repeating as champs is never easy in baseball&mdash;just ask the 2022 Braves or 2023 Astros.<\/p><p><strong>New York Yankees (+800) &ndash; Can They Finally Get Over the Hump?<\/strong><\/p><p>The Yankees came close last year, making it to the World Series before losing to the Dodgers. This year, they&rsquo;ve added ace Max Fried to pair with Gerrit Cole, giving them one of the nastiest pitching duos in the league.<\/p><p>With Aaron Judge leading the offense, New York has all the firepower needed to finally bring a championship back to the Bronx for the first time since 2009. The pressure is on, but this team is built to win.<\/p><p><strong>Atlanta Braves (+950) &ndash; Too Good to Count Out<\/strong><\/p><p>The Braves had a tough 2024, but let&rsquo;s not forget they were the best team in the regular season before injuries derailed their playoff hopes. Now, Ronald Acu&ntilde;a Jr. and Spencer Strider are back and healthy, making Atlanta a serious threat.<\/p><p>With a deep lineup and a strong rotation, the Braves have as good a shot as anyone at knocking off the Dodgers. If the Mets&rsquo; rotation holds up, they could absolutely make noise in October.
