The Philadelphia 76ers forward, Paul George was part of the free-agency saga this offseason which saw him join the Philadelphia 76ers from the Los Angeles Clippers. Since, signing the max contract of four-years for $212 million, George has struggled with injuries and is yet to find his consistent form and pay dividends on his max contract.<\/p>

Paul George missed the first five games<\/a> of the season with a bruise in his left knee which left the 76ers with a 1-4 start. After playing eight games, George’s bruise in his left knee returned which made him miss the next three games and the 76ers went 1-2 in his absence. In his first consistent spell, the star forward played 22 games out of the 27 and the 76ers improved from a 3-14 to 17-27. However, George was struck again with injuries, and this time in his left pinky finger with an extensor tendon injury which sat him out for five consecutive matches.<\/p>

According to the latest reports by Shams Charania<\/a>, “Most recently, he’s had tendon damage in his left pinky that he’s been fighting,”<\/em> Charania added. “He’s been doing everything he can, though, to be on the court and be available. I’m told it’s to the point where he has gotten injections to play and compete over the last four or five games.”<\/em><\/p>
