Women&rsquo;s sports are rising in the USA and WNBA&rsquo;s brand value has been all-time high. 2024 was women&rsquo;s basketball&rsquo;s breakout year. <\/p><p>Morning Consult, a popular American business intelligence company, conducted a survey among US adults, who talked about their love for professional sports in the country. The American company organized a survey on Dec. 16-19, 2024 among a representative sample of 2,202 U.S. adults. <\/p><p>According to the survey of Morning Consult, the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/nfl\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>NFL <\/a>is the most popular league in the US with 34% avid fans. NBA finished third in the survey (behind NFL and MLB) with 21% avid fans and 26% casual fans. <\/p><p>Top 5 sports competitions from the survey:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NFL &ndash; 34% avid fans, 28% casual fans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MLB &ndash; 19% avid fans, 30% casual fans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NBA &ndash; 21% avid fans, 26% casual fans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NHL &ndash; 11% avid fans, 20% casual fans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WNBA &ndash; 8% avid fans, 18% casual fans<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>WNBA had better numbers in the survey compared to MLS and PGA. <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/lionel-messi-receives-medal-of-freedom-from-joe-biden\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Lionel Messi<\/a>&lsquo;s arrival at MLS didn&rsquo;t impact the league&rsquo;s value among the young generation. Golf is also a popular game in the United States but WNBA are slighted ahead.
