The NBA Christmas Day games turned out to be an electrifying affair last month. All five games, including Lakers vs Warriors had went down to the wire, keeping the fans on their toes through out the day. After Lakers’ thrilling 115-113 win over Stephen Curry’s Warriors<\/a>, LeBron James took a cheeky dig at NFL, stating, “I love the NFL, I love the NFL. But Christmas is our day.”<\/em><\/p>

The NFL, which has hosted Christmas games since 2020, featured matchups like the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans. While both NFL games ended in blowouts, they still pulled in huge numbers<\/a>.<\/p>

The NFL’s Christmas Day games which were streamed on Netflix, drew in 65 million viewers, while NBA managed to pull up 5.25 million views. <\/p>

Now, in a surprising twist, LeBron admitted to the New Heights podcast, hosted by NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, that the NFL dominated in terms of viewership. “I saw the fu**ing numbers after the fact, you guys kicked our a**<\/em>, LeBron said. <\/p>

“From a viewership standpoint, y’all kicked our a**.”<\/em><\/p>

LeBron also joked that while the NFL games might not have been as exciting, the NFL had Beyonce performing during the Chiefs-Steelers halftime which helped to pull big numbers.<\/p>
