Chael Sonnen, who faced Jon Jones back in 2013, knows a thing or two about the champion’s abilities. According to the ‘Bad Guy,’ Aspinall’s path to victory isn’t about outpointing or out grappling Jones – it’s about landing that one big shot that puts his lights out. <\/p>

Sonnen’s take makes sense, considering Jones has never been legitimately knocked out in his entire career, despite facing some of the hardest hitters in both light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. He believes that to fully cement his legacy as the legitimate heavyweight champion, Aspinall has to get that KO victory.<\/p>

“If Jon Jones is gonna lose to Tom Aspinall, he is gonna have to get knocked out… And what about when they do take the fighting, when it’s no longer a sport. Which comes in around 2-3 minutes of the 2nd round. You are now in the tough guy business.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>
