Standing at an impressive 2.26 m (7 feet 5 inches) and weighing 107 kg (235 lb), he is recognized as one of the tallest Division I players of all time and among the tallest living humans. Sharp’s childhood and high school career took place in his hometown, where he attended Hopkinsville High School. Sharp’s collegiate basketball journey began at John A. Logan College, where he played from 2019 to 2021. Following his time there, he transferred to Western Kentucky University, playing for the Hilltoppers from 2021 to 2023. During his tenure at Western Kentucky, Sharp made a significant impact, particularly in the 2022-23 season. He played in and started 32 of the team’s 33 games, leading the nation in blocks with 131 and blocks per game with 4.1. He averaged 28.6 minutes per game, contributing 7.4 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds. Notably, he broke Western Kentucky’s career blocks record on January 16, 2023. For his senior year, Sharp transferred to Ole Miss, playing for the Rebels during the 2023-24 season. He was named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award preseason watch list. With Ole Miss, he appeared in 31 games, starting 15, and averaged 15.8 minutes, 3.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. Throughout his collegiate career, he accumulated 354 blocks, tying for 53rd on the NCAA all-time rankings. In terms of his professional career, Jamarion Sharp went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft. He last played for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League, with his playing career officially beginning in 2024. Currently, he is listed as a free agent. Regarding personal news, in April 2024, Sharp faced a legal issue when he was charged with aggravated assault. The charge stemmed from an incident where he allegedly fired a weapon while a vehicle was being repossessed. No one was injured during the incident. Sharp was taken into custody and subsequently received a $100,000 bond from a municipal court judge. This incident marks a notable event in his personal life outside of basketball.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":637873,"template":"","categories":[1],"class_list":["post-637872","nba-player","type-nba-player","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
Jamarion Sharp: Stats, Contract, Height and NBA News<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Jamarion Sharp is an American college basketball player who played for John A.
