He is the youngest of the Antetokounmpo brothers, a well-known family in the NBA, including Giannis, Thanasis, and Kostas. Standing 2.03 m tall and weighing 97 kg, Alex plays as a small forward or power forward. Antetokounmpo&rsquo;s childhood and high school career were in the United States. He attended Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. During his time in high school, he received scholarship offers from universities such as DePaul, Ohio, and Green Bay. However, instead of pursuing a college basketball career, Alex announced on May 9, 2020, that he would play professionally in Europe after graduating from high school. He was considered a three-star recruit by major recruiting services at the time. His professional journey began in Europe. On June 22, 2020, he signed a three-year contract with UCAM Murcia of the Liga ACB in Spain, playing with them from 2020 to 2021. After his stint in Spain, Antetokounmpo moved to North America.
