His early basketball career led him to attend Abington Senior High School in Abington, Pennsylvania, before committing to Villanova University.<\/p>
Dixon’s collegiate career at Villanova lasted from 2020 to 2025. He redshirted his freshman year in 2019-20. His official playing career began in the 2020-21 season as a Redshirt Freshman, where he averaged 3.0 points per game (PPG) in 21 games. He significantly improved his performance in subsequent years, averaging 9.1 PPG in 38 games as a Redshirt Sophomore (2021-22) and 15.4 PPG in 34 games as a Redshirt Junior (2022-23). Throughout his career, he demonstrated consistent shooting with a field goal percentage of 0.493, a free throw percentage of 0.784, and a three-point percentage of 0.396. However, a foot injury impacted his chances with the Lakers, leading to his waiver by the team on October 15, 2025. Shortly after, on October 18, 2025, Dixon was signed by the Charlotte Hornets.
