Justin Minaya is an American professional basketball player who most recently played for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on a two-way contract. College Career: Minaya played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2017 to 2021. As a freshman, he averaged 6.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. His sophomore season was cut short due to a knee injury after 15 games. In his junior year, he averaged 7.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, starting all 30 games. He transferred to Providence College for his final college season in 2021-2022, where he averaged 6.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, helping the Friars win a Big East regular season championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Professional Career and Drafts: After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, Minaya joined the Charlotte Hornets for the 2022 NBA Summer League.
