Steph Curry twisted his ankle and was ruled out of the fourth quarter against the Brooklyn Nets
Steph Curry suffered a left ankle sprain and had to exit the Golden State Warriors game against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. Curry was seen limping off the floor and getting to the locker room with the help of the team’s staff.
It was certainly a worrying sight for the fans but it looks like the injury is not that serious. Speaking about the same during the post-game press conference, Steve Kerr gave an update about the same and stated:
“He’s doing O.K. He used the word ‘mild’ or ‘moderate’—he’s obviously sprained that ankle many times before. He doesn’t think it’s too bad. But obviously, it’s a concern.”
Take a look at his comments below:
It is safe to say that more clarity is awaited on the situation as of right now. Moreover, Curry is set to undergo an MRI to further determine the extent of his injury. That said, if the injury turns out to be a serious one, it would be a big blow for the Warriors.
As mentioned earlier, further details on the injury are yet to be awaited. The good thing is that at this juncture, the injury does not seem to be long-term. However, Curry will still miss at least a few games before he is deemed fit to return to the court.
