LeBron James has won the NBA MVP of the Day for October 26, 2024
Last night in the NBA, the stars shined the brightest as we saw some incredible individual performances. Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic scored an impressive 41 and 40 points respectively. However, they came in a losing cause and won’t be named NBA MVP of the Day.
Norman Powell led LA Clippers against the Denver Nuggets and recorded 37 points and three rebounds. Jason Tatum of the Boston Celtics once again showed why he’s one of the best players currently. He scored 37 points, two assists, and four rebounds as they triumphed Pistons.
Amongst such numbers, soon to be 40 years of age, LeBron James shined the brightest. James scored 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Lakers came back against the Kings to get the victory in the fourth quarter. He proved to be vital in changing the game that the Lakers seemed to have been losing. This is why LeBron James is our NBA MVP of the Day.
Heading into the 2024-25 season, the LA Lakers were certainly not the favorites to win the championship. With much better teams in the league, much isn’t expected from the Lakers.
However, the Lakers have had the perfect start to the season. They are 3-0 in the season so far and have defeated the likes of Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, and Sacramento Kings.

It is worth noting that the only two times LeBron James has had a 2-0 start to a season, he led his team into the finals. That said, it will be interesting to see if James can lead the LA Lakers into the finals as well this time around or not.
